AI Copilot and AI Resolution billing
SparrowDesk has two AI add-ons that are billed differently: AI Co-pilot and AI Resolutions. Here’s how each works.
AI Co-pilot seats
An AI Co-pilot seat gives a teammate unlimited access to SparrowDesk’s Co-pilot features.
How billing works
Co-pilot seats are billed the same way as regular seats: either monthly or yearly, depending on your subscription.
When you add a Co-pilot seat mid-cycle, we’ll charge a pro-rated amount for the remainder of that billing period.
You won’t receive a separate invoice immediately. Instead, SparrowDesk consolidates all new seat charges into a single bill sent the following month (even for annual customers).
Removing Co-pilot seats
If you remove a Co-pilot seat, the unused value isn’t refunded in cash. Instead, it’s credited to your account and applied toward future invoices.
AI Resolutions
What is it?
AI Resolutions are billed on a usage-based model. Each “resolution” means an issue solved fully by SparrowDesk’s AI.
Included free quota
Every SparrowDesk account includes 30 free AI Resolutions per month.
Beyond the free quota
After that, AI Resolutions are billed at $0.49 per resolution.
Tracking usage
- Go to Settings → Billing.
- Click the Usage Details tab.
See Which Conversations Used Zoona AI Credits
The credit usage drawer lists the conversations behind your Zoona AI charges, so you can match what you were billed to the conversations that were resolved.
- Go to Billing → Zoona AI
- Click View resolved conversations.
- To see an earlier billing cycle, open the Billing period dropdown and choose a period.
The dropdown lists the current period first, then earlier periods, newest first. The selected period has a tick next to it. It shows up to 24 earlier periods.
Each row shows the conversation’s #ID. Click a row to open the conversation on top of the drawer.
Earlier billing periods are available on postpaid accounts only. For a past period, the list shows only the conversations that period’s invoice charged for.
The table lists each billed item, such as seats and AI usage, with its usage, pricing, and total. Estimated Cost at the bottom adds them up.
Reversed Resolutions
If a resolution was reversed, it still appears in the list with a Reversed label. That way every unit on your invoice is accounted for.
Usage emails
If AI Resolutions is on and you use at least one resolution in a two-week period, SparrowDesk emails you a usage summary every two weeks. It's a heads-up only, with no action needed, so your usage doesn't surprise you at the end of the cycle.
Example
- You’re on the Professional Annual or Monthly plan with 10 teammates.
- You add 2 Co-pilot seats mid-month → SparrowDesk charges you a pro-rated amount for those seats in the next month. Even if you are in the annual plan.
- That same month, your team uses 45 AI Resolutions. If you have free credits left , then first 30 are free, and the remaining 15 are billed at $0.49 each.
Both charges (Co-pilot and AI Resolutions) will appear together on your consolidated invoice.
FAQ
- How do I check what a past invoice charged for?
Go to Billing → Zoona AI → View resolved conversations, and pick the invoice’s period from the Billing period dropdown. - How far back can I see?
Up to 24 earlier periods, on postpaid accounts only. - Why does the dropdown say “No earlier billing periods yet”?
Your account has only one billing period so far. - Why is a conversation marked Reversed?
Its resolution was reversed. It stays listed so every unit on your invoice is accounted for.
